The summer season in the UAE is set to end in 30 days with September 23 marking the first day of autumn, according to the Emirates Astronomy Society.

Ibrahim Al Jawran, Chairman of the Emirates Astronomy Society said that the star of Suhail will be visible on Thursday at dawn in certain regions marking the end of high temperatures.

During the summer season, the sun is positioned directly above the Tropic of Cancer, resulting in minimal shadows across the Arabian Peninsula.

The autumn season starting at the end of September is expected to continue until December 21.
