The airline has suspended flights to nine cities, including Dubai and Doha, due to the closure of airspace in the region. According to the carrier, the restrictions will remain in place at least until March 31.
At the same time, most of the airline’s flights are continuing to operate as scheduled. Until the end of March, flights to the following cities have been cancelled: Amman, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, Kuwait City, Copenhagen, Baghdad and Khasab.
Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to manage their bookings and rebook tickets through the airline’s official website or mobile app.
Airlines across the region continue to adjust schedules and routes amid partial airspace closures, forcing carriers to cancel or reroute flights.
Earlier it was reported that operations at Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended following a drone attack. Afterward, Emirates announced the temporary cancellation of several flights, although operations gradually began to resume around 10:00 a.m. local time.
