On the night of March 12, 2026, another drone incident occurred in Dubai: one of the drones crashed into a residential building in the Dubai Creek Harbour area, causing a localized fire. This was reported by the emirate's authorities through the Dubai Government Media Office.
According to official reports, the drone struck the upper floors of The Address, a high-rise residential complex in Dubai Creek Harbour. After the drone crashed, a fire broke out in the building. Dubai Civil Defense and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene.
The building's residents were evacuated to safe areas. Firefighters quickly contained the fire and soon extinguished it. Authorities confirmed that all residents are safe and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The Dubai Government Media Office reported that the situation is under control, and relevant services are continuing to work at the scene.
This is not the first such incident in recent days. Drone crashes near Dubai International Airport were previously reported, causing brief disruptions to aviation infrastructure. Authorities urged residents to remain calm and follow official announcements.
