In the United Arab Emirates, a number of music and cultural events have been rescheduled to later dates. For example, the Offlimits Music Festival featuring Shakira and the Jonas Brothers, originally planned for April, will now take place on November 21 at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi.

Christina Aguilera’s concert at Etihad Arena, previously set for April 24, has been moved to September 25. The Art Dubai fair has been rescheduled from April to May 14–17 and will be held at Madinat Jumeirah. Organisers noted that the format will become more flexible, with a stronger focus on galleries, artists, and cultural institutions.

The major tourism exhibition Arabian Travel Market will be held from August 17 to 20 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event traditionally attracts more than 55,000 industry professionals from over 160 countries and includes conferences on technology, sustainability, and the use of artificial intelligence in the sector.

The Middle East Film and Comic Con festival has been moved to September 11–13 and will take place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The event draws fans of film, television, comics, gaming, and anime, and features celebrity meet-and-greets, cosplay competitions, and panel discussions. Existing tickets will remain valid.

Amr Diab’s concerts in Dubai have been postponed without a new date announced, with tickets remaining valid. Organisers explained that most events are not being cancelled but postponed in order to preserve the programme and account for the complexities of transporting equipment and artists.
