Commuters in Dubai who regularly use public transport—especially public buses, the ferry, or water taxis, can now enjoy free Wi-Fi access at several RTA bus and marine stations. This service enables passengers to stay connected to the internet even while away from home or the office, offering added convenience during their daily commute or while waiting for their ride.
The new free Wi-Fi service, introduced by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in collaboration with telecommunications provider e& (formerly Etisalat), is currently available at 29 public transport stations, including 17 bus stations and 12 marine stations across the city.
Commuters can connect to the Wi-Fi for up to two hours per session, using smartphones, tablets, or laptops, making it easier to browse, stream, or stay in touch on the go.
