Dubai has once again secured its position as the world’s leading tourist destination, claiming the top spot for the second year running in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2023.

This achievement is due to feedback from visitors who shared their unique personal experiences, according to a statement released by TripAdvisor.

The emirate’s appeal lies in its diverse offerings, including beaches, world-class shopping centres, a rich culinary scene, vibrant entertainment hubs, and a year-round calendar of events.

Dubai’s commitment to using visitor feedback and reviews has also been a driving force behind its excellence in the tourism industry.

The emirate’s strong digital presence across specialised tourism platforms and social media channels has played a pivotal role in showcasing its attractions and encouraging travellers to explore the array of activities on offer.

From iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa and The View at Palm Jumeirah to the futuristic Museum of the Future, the emirate boasts a wide range of attractions. Luxurious accommodations such as the renowned Atlantis The Royal on Palm Jumeirah, contribute to its status as the world’s top choice for global travellers.

In addition to this recognition, Dubai has also received acclaim from the Gault & Millau guide and inclusion in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, further cementing its status as a premier destination for global travellers.

TripAdvisor also further encouraged citizens, residents, and visitors to continue sharing their reviews and opinions on TripAdvisor as Dubai sets its sights on securing a third consecutive victory in the 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
