Summer has officially arrived in the UAE and we all know what that means – sunglasses steaming up when you step outside, AC units working round the clock and spending more time cooling off indoors.
There’s plenty to do over summer, but if you’re wondering when you can next schedule in a run along Kite Beach or a picnic lunch at Safa Park, we’ve got all the dates to know for when you can expect Dubai to start cooling down.
It has been confirmed that Dubai summer will end on Wednesday September 23, meaning this year’s summer period is exactly three months and two days long. 94 days in total, if you want to be precise.
After the summer solstice, we can start to look forward to the autumnal equinox, which will happen on September 23.
However, just because summer is officially over, it doesn’t mean the temperatures will suddenly drop to 23C with a cool breeze.
Although the temperatures are forecast to drop a little in September, the month is usually one for high levels of humidity, making it feel just as warm.
You should start to notice it getting cooler in October, after the summer equinox, as we move towards the winter months.
