Parts of Saudi Arabia could see snowfall as temperatures plunge.
The Tabuk region, particularly its northern and southern parts, have experienced a significant drop in perceived temperatures to below zero degrees Celsius.
This weather comes after a warm winter in the region and people in the area have been anticipating snowfall.
State-run press agency SPA is closely monitoring the situation and reported details in several locations identified by the National Centre of Meteorology.
The NCM mentioned the possibility of some regions being affected by a cold wave that may result in snow and rain.
Forecasters said temperatures will drop and fog may form in parts of these regions. Snow may fall in parts of the highlands of Tabuk (Alqan, Ad-dhahr, and Jabal Al-Lawz) and the Northern Border (Turaif and Al-Qurayyat).
It also warned of extremely cold surface winds that may stir up dust.
