Sheikh Mohammed, Dubai royals wish UAE residents, Muslims on Eid Al Adha

He asks God to accept Muslims' 'obedience and prayers'

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has extended his warm wishes to "all Arab and Islamic people" on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

The Dubai Ruler took to Twitter to wish Muslims a safe and happy festive period. "We ask God to accept their obedience and prayers," he adds.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, extended his wishes to Haj pilgrims and wrote on Twiiter: "On this remarkable day, we ask God Almighty to accept good deeds from the pilgrims to his ancient house." He also wished the leaders on Eid Al Adha. "We congratulate our wise leadership, our dear people, and the Arab and Islamic nation on the advent of the blessed Eid AlaAdha."

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, also extended his wishes. "The Day of Arafat stands as a significant occasion in the Islamic world, uniting pilgrims from a myriad of nationalities, all bound by their collective prayers and aspirations. In the spirit of this unity, I extend my prayers to Allah to accept their prayers and virtuous acts and send my warmest wishes to the rulers and people of the UAE, as well as to the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. May this blessed occasion foster greater connection and joy. Wishing you a blessed Eid and continued health and happiness throughout the year."
