One person has been killed by shrapnel from an intercepted drone at a farm in Fujairah.

The incident occurred in Al Riffa area, according to authorities on Wednesday morning.

"The competent authorities in Fujairah are dealing with an incident that occurred in a farm in the Al Riffa area as a result of shrapnel falling from the interception of a drone, which resulted in the killing of a person of Bangladeshi nationality," state news agency Wam stated on X.

Since the war began, the attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of two military personnel and a Moroccan civilian contracted by the Armed Forces, as well as eight other fatalities of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian and Indian nationalities.

A total of 188 people have been injured. They included citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden and Tunisia.
