Jumeirah Group, a luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has announced the opening of its first hotel in Saudi Arabia.
Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah, located in the heart of Jabal Omar and a short distance from the Great Mosque of Makkah, marks the company’s regional and international expansion.
The hotel, which is part of the second phase of the Jabal Omar project designed by Fosters + Partners architects, offers a range of world-class amenities and a tranquil atmosphere for guests.
With 1,121 rooms, suites, and residences, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah provides visitors with a comfortable and peaceful sanctuary during their stay in the holy city of Makkah.
As part of its dining offerings, the hotel currently features eight dining destinations, including the Mediterranean restaurant Patras, and a lobby lounge serving specialty teas and baked goods.
Soon, guests will have access to an additional six unique dining options, showcasing a variety of culinary experiences such as regional Arabesque, Persian, Middle Eastern, South-east Asian, Indo-Pakistani cuisine, as well as a café serving exquisite teas and French baked goods.
The property also includes three meeting rooms and event spaces that can accommodate between 10 to 70 people.

The Dubai hotelier brings its renowned hospitality and service to the Kingdom, aiming to elevate the overall guest experience through meticulous attention to detail and personalised service.
The hotel currently opens with 507 guest rooms and elegant suites spread across two high-rise towers, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Great Mosque of Makkah.
An additional 526 rooms and suites will be added in phases across two more contemporary towers, providing seamless access through express elevators. Guests also have the option to book entire floors, ensuring the utmost privacy and exclusivity during their stay.
Adding to the luxury experience, the hotel boasts 88 spacious residences situated across the podium of the four towers of Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah.
These exclusive residences feature generous terraces, allowing guests to observe the group prayers at the Great Mosque of Makkah from the comfort of their own accommodations.
Rizwan Shaikh, recently appointed General Manager of Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah, brings over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience from India, Singapore, and the Kingdom.
