Dubai Creek Harbour rises above its namesake waterway, and is located between the city's historical locales and newer hubs of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay which are just 10 to 15 minutes away by car.
The district is the ideal spot for enjoying a slower pace of life, and taking in the serene skyline and marina views over an al fresco meal at food trucks or cafes. Stroll along the 6km promenade and stop for photographs at one of the bright-hued art installations, or hop aboard a boat tour and enjoy some of the city’s key landmarks from the water.
For a stay with a difference, check in at the chic Vida Creek Harbour hotel. Take a dip in the infinity pool, which comes with views of the Burj Khalifa, or borrow a bike from the hotel for a leisurely ride around the harbour.
There are several exciting commercial developments currently underway in Dubai Creek Harbour, with new openings across retail, cultural and residential spaces.
Plans have also been announced for an area called Dubai Square, which when finished will be the city’s leading tech-driven retail destination. Measuring 2.6 million square metres and with architecture inspired by cities around the world, it is poised to become a lifestyle and living hotspot, and will also house the city's own version of Chinatown.
With many ongoing projects, Dubai Creek Harbour is expected to double in size once completed, and will help to set the bar for futuristic design in the city.
