Armani Hotel Dubai has shut for refurbishment, taking one of Downtown Dubai’s best-known luxury hotels off the market. Booking channels currently show no availability until January 4, even as the operator targets a Q4 2026 return.
In a statement, the hotel said: “Beginning 1st April 2026, Armani Hotel Dubai will temporarily close to undergo a comprehensive, full-scale refurbishment. We will craft the next evolution of Armani hospitality, one that remains true to our iconic style, yet reimagined for the future, as we elevate every facet of the guest experience ahead of unveiling our renewed vision when we reopen in Q4 2026.”
The closure took effect earlier this month. Located within Burj Khalifa, Armani Hotel Dubai opened in 2010 as the first hotel to carry the Armani name and remains one of the city’s most recognisable branded luxury addresses.
The shutdown comes as a number of established Dubai hotels also pause operations for renovation or restoration work.
St. Regis The Palm has also closed its doors, while Park Hyatt Dubai will temporarily close from May 1 as it enters the final phase of its renovation programme, with Hyatt saying works are expected to last around six months. Jumeirah Group’s Burj Al Arab has also shut for a major restoration project expected to run for 18 months.
For now, Armani Hotel Dubai is shut, refurbishment is under way, and the hotel remains unavailable to book online until January 4.
