Ain Dubai remains closed until further notice, with no reopening date in sight.
According to an update on the big wheel’s website, the observation wheel will remain “closed until further notice”.
Standing at 250m high, the Ain Dubai observation wheel has become an iconic landmark of the Dubai skyline since its opening in October 2021. With views over JBR, the Dubai Marina and beyond, the enormous steel structure is now synonymous with Bluewaters Island.
Following its closure for refurbishment and maintenance in March 2022, Ain Dubai was originally set to reopen in May 2022. The website was then updated to say it would be open a the end of Q1 2023, which would have been this month.
The statement now reads: “Ain Dubai remains closed until further notice as we continue to rigorously work on completing the enhancement works that have been taking place over the past months.”
There is currently no date set but the site says: “Once a reopening date is set, a further announcement will be made.
“In line with our commitment to offering guests an experience unlike any other, we look forward to introducing new and exciting offers when we re-open Ain Dubai for visitors to enjoy from across the globe.”
