Dubai will be home to what is thought will be the world’s highest nightclub, it has been announced.
The Burj Azizi, one of the most highly anticipated major projects in Dubai, will become the second-tallest building in the world.
It is set to break many records (not the kind a DJ uses but the world record kind) when it is finally built.
First announced earlier in 2024, developers have only now revealed how tall it’ll be and will feature plenty of things to get the city excited.
And the one that has team Time Out Dubai most excited is the promise of the world’s highest nightclub on level 126 of the 725m skyscraper.
That is almost as high, relatively, as the 828m-high Burj Khalifa.
It is not clear where the current record for the world’s highest nightclub stands, and developers have not broken down their claim in detail.
However, given that Privilege, in Dubai on the 75th floor of the SLS, is one of the world’s tallest, we can safely say that this one on the 126th would certainly have stiff competition for top spot.
The Dhs6 billion building, based on Sheikh Zayed Road, will be sprawled over 131 storeys and rank behind only Burj Khalifa in the world’s tallest building stakes.
But before you get the group chat excited about your next big night out, you’ll have to wait another four years for the Burj Azizi to be completed.
If your nightclub days are behind you or you fancy a more chill day out then there will still be plenty on offer for you to do at Dubai’s latest major skyscraper.
Burj Azizi will also offer a range of amenities, such as wellness centres, swimming pools, saunas, cinemas, gyms, mini markets, resident lounges, a children’s play area, and more.
As we reported in January, the Burj Azizi will include a vertical mall over seven floors as well as a luxury ballroom and a beach club.
And when it comes to other records, the developers say that it will be home to the highest hotel lobby in the world on level 11, the highest observation deck on level 130, the highest restaurant in Dubai on level 122 and the highest hotel room on level 118.
As with any major building in the city, we can also expect plenty of high-end dining and drink options.
Mirwais Azizi, Founder & Chairman of Azizi Developments, said that the hotel at the building will be a “seven-star” one.
He said: “Our investment in Burj Azizi, surpassing AED 6 billion, represents more than just the creation of an iconic structure it is a commitment to transforming Sheikh Zayed Road and elevating Dubai’s skyline to new, unparalleled heights.
“Burj Azizi is not merely about its towering stature or prime location and with its innovative design and cutting-edge technology, this tower will offer ultra-luxury residences, a unique vertical shopping mall, the world’s highest observation deck, and a wealth of amenities and dining experiences, all set at extraordinary elevations.
“The seven-star hotel, crowned by the world’s highest lobby, will embody Dubai’s spirit, celebrating the world’s seven major cultures through its intricate interior design.”
But if you do fancy a classic Dubai drink or meal while taking in the impressive skyline then you can opt for At.Mosphere at Burj Khalifa for the time being.
