However, during the busy summer travel period, local airlines have issued key travel warnings to help you have a smooth journey, and several foreign-based airlines still aren’t travelling to Dubai.

Emirates has urged travellers to arrive at least three hours early at DXB during the busy summer travel period.
In a travel update, Dubai’s biggest airline is expecting a high volume of passengers travelling from Dubai International Airport throughout the summer months.
Additionally, Emirates has introduced new comprehensive travel insurance which provides free rebookings on other airlines during conflict-related cancellations, robust medical expense protection and free 30-day trip extensions.
The airline has also made the decision to cancel flights EK835, EK837 and EK839 to Bahrain and flights EK853, EK855, EK857 and EK9859 to Kuwait until further notice.
Similarly, flydubai is expecting Dubai International Airport to be busier than usual as travellers embark on their summer holidays.
The airline’s latest travel update advises holidaymakers to arrive at DXB four hours before their flight is due to depart.
Check-in will close an hour before departure times, while airport security is expected to be busy as DXB braces for hundreds of thousands of daily travellers.
To save time at the airport, flydubai has advised its customers to ensure their contact details are up to date, encouraged online check-ins and reminded travellers of the airline’s baggage allowances.
flydubai’s self-service kiosks are in Terminal 2, where baggage tags can be printed off before proceeding to the dedicated bag drop desk.
Boarding alerts, gate changes and any other flight notifications can be sent directly to your phone using the airline’s app.
Etihad continues to operate a comprehensive commercial flight schedule from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
The airline is currently operating between the UAE capital and around 80 destinations across the GCC, Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.
